A Long Journey Home – Part Three - From Yesterday to Tomorrow

A Long Journey Home is a four part NEDAA series developed in partnership between the Council of Yukon First Nations and the Northern Native Broadcasting Yukon in 1997. It was developed after the signing of the Umbrella Final Agreement to educate the public about the journey to Yukon’s modern treaties. To this day, these films remain a valuable resource and treasure trove of archival footage to learn about the history and reasons why Yukon First Nations negotiated these agreements with the federal and Yukon governments.
